About the EPL Power Table
J. Packham's EPL Power Table is an objective performance-based system. It is based off a modified ELO formula that factors in goal differential and has transfer of points for ties.
Including point differential is a dynamic way to calculate an ELO point ranking that brings more opportunity for rankings to reflect most recent play while punishing poor and rewarding good performances.
J. Packham's EPL Power Table allows for rapid point exchange to give a more accurate weekly power ranking for clubs.
The Power Table will be based off of league play alone.
Have fun tracking your favourite team as they move up and down J. Packham's EPL Power Table week by week.
